Tony has extensive administrative and clinicalexperience in hospital management in both mentalhealth and medical/surgical hospitals. Tony is aregistered nurse, qualified CPA tax accountant aswell as holding a Master in Health Administration.He has a particular expertise in financial management of hospitals, management structures, and program development.
During his career in hospital management, Tony managed Sydney facilities for both large for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals. Tony is a senior surveyorwith the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards and is a qualified board director, including being the chair of a superannuation board.
MR BERNARD McNAIR(RN, Grad Dip NSEMGT FANZCMHN)
Bernard has extensive experience in both thepublic and private sector as both a clinician andadministrator. Bernard has a particular interest inprogram development (inpatient and day patients), hospital leadership and consumer and carer advocacy. Bernard has managed facilities for both large for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals.Additionally Bernard has extensive advocacyexperience through work with The Mental HealthCouncil of Australia, the Mental Illness Fellowshipof Australia and beyondblue – the NationalDepression Initiative. Bernard is a senior surveyor with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards.
